Wisconsin is coming off a remarkable weekend, winning an overtime road game and a WCHA overtime regular-season game for the first time since Nov. 3, 2006 at Alaska Anchorage. The Badgers were 0-10-23 in WCHA regular-season overtime games spanning seven seasons since that game in 2006. The Badgers ended up winning two overtime games over Minnesota State on the weekend.
The Badgers now return home, where they will play out 11 of the final 16 games of their season, beginning this weekend with a series against No. 8 Miami. UW looks to keep its 10-game unbeaten streak going (7-0-3), as well as protect its six-game winning streak against a a tough Miami team.
