Packers Rodgers a No-Go for Pro Bowl

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on his weekly  radio show Tuesday that he won't make it to the Pro Bowl this year -- but it's not because he dislikes the game.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback is backing out because of multiple injuries, and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning will replace him on the NFC roster.

"I didn't pass my physical," said Rodgers, who declined to get into specifics but later mentioned injuries to his ankle, calf and knee.

The Packers' season ended Saturday in a divisional playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, and Rodgers admitted he was hurt during that game.

"I've been on the injury report at various times during the season with my ankle (that) was hurting me," he said. "I will say that my ankle has definitely been a problem. During the season, I've been on the injury report at least once with that."

Rodgers also said his calf has bothered him for several weeks and that he had received an injection in his knee.

Rodgers made waves last year when he criticized the quality of play at the Pro Bowl. This year's game is scheduled for Jan. 27.
